The newest show on the Hold Fast Network is Basement Tapes Radio, a music podcast that takes an eclectic look at a different theme every fortnight. Harry Walsh and Sam Bedford pick 10 killer tracks every show across every genre for your delectation.

Basement Tapes attempt to dig out the ‘good stuff’ in music both past and present and give it a platform to speak for itself. Starting out promoting unsigned artists in basement bars in 2011, they now host parties across East London, occasionally featuring their own house covers band The Basement Brothers.

Mickypedia

The penultimate episode of Mickypedia’s debut season comes out this week, so there’s still time to join Micky and Steve on a journey into the unknown as they generate topics to discuss from autocompleted questions on Google and the magic that is the Random Article button on Wikipedia.

Mickypedia will return for a second season in May.

South London Hardcore

Your favourite transpontine podcast is now fortnightly. This week’s guests are Helen Zaltzman and Martin Austwick, talking about their work on shows like Answer Me This!, Brain Train and The Allusionist and bringing Sony Awards, critical acclaim and Radiotopia to South London.

Last week Jack and Steve visited the Stanley Kubrick Archive at UAL in Elephant and Castle. Archivist Richard Daniels leads a tour of the archive, dipping in and out of Kubrick's boxes, looking at props, costumes, photographs, correspondence, books and much more.
